What is The Organics for Peace?
The Organics for Peace is, at present, a musical experience orbiting the creative productions of singer-songwriter Louis Preston West. The line-up of musicians fluctuates depending on who is available to play and the selection of music changes depending on both the venue and the audience. Whatever the parameters may be — don’t panic — it’s organic. And it’s all for Peace.
So whether it is band leader Louis West performing solo or with other musicians, the focus is the same: performing music that has a message for the times we live in.
Who is Louis Preston West?
North American singer-songwriter Louis Preston West brings a message of Peace & Love. His project Compendium reflects the wisdom of experiences moving from corporate life to spiritual exploration by way of study, community living, sustainable agriculture, and adventures traveling the country in a 1960's VW Bus.
Once the body of Compendium was complete, West saw an opportunity to organize and expand upon the work, as well as add a little color. A unique, artistic representation of the song title was created for each of the 100 songs in Compendium and lovingly brought to print as PEACE Deck.
It is West’s intention and hope that Compendium & PEACE Deck be used together to help all beings find PEACE for themselves and move into a greater experience of the Love that is all around us.
